OnyxPoint is a value-oriented investor with a strategy of investing opportunistically across the entire balance sheet. The successful candidate would assist the investment team in executing this strategy across OnyxPoint’s public market and private equity businesses. The successful candidate would work on a broad range of investment opportunities across OnyxPoint’s core strategies: Fundamental Value, Event-Driven, Special Situations, Opportunistic Corporate Credit and Distressed Credit / Restructurings.

The successful candidate will be involved in due diligence, valuation analysis, and transaction execution across core industry verticals including upstream oil and gas, energy infrastructure, power generation, midstream, oilfield equipment, metals and mining, chemicals and other commodity related sectors. The relatively small size of the investment team offers the successful candidate the opportunity to work closely with senior members of the firm and to have extensive interaction with management teams and external advisors. The team primarily invests in the energy and commodities industries.
